Outruns you.

She appears to have given up, and slumps in a chair, defeated. She looks at you for a breif moment, then her features change startlingly fast, as she takes on the form of a large siberian tiger and jumps through a nearby window. When she jumps, before landing, she morphs into what the humans call their Peregrine falcon, the worlds fastest bird.

She flies higher and higher into the air, and thinks to herself, 'I cant believe i got away! Fast my ass!' She lands some 30 minutes later, and demorphs on a rooftop in the city. She extends her hand to reveal a flashdrive, no doubt the one she came here for, and holds it close to her chest.

Mystique sits down over the buildings egde, and sighs. "That was too close." She has not noticed, but you have been there the whole time and are now sitting next to her, ever so quiet, before you say "Not close enough." She is extremely startled by you, and almost falls off the edge, still clucthing her flash drive and pocketing it in hopes you have not noticed.

She sighs. "What do you want? Don't you have a universe to recue? A cilvilization to help?" She is half sarcastic, half serious. You aren't looking at her, rather, you are sitting next to her, staring straight forward. "What is in that component is important to you, for some reason. I cannot allow you to leave with it. By now you know I am much faster than you, Please don't try to run away."

She stares at your face, knowing all well you could kill her at any moment, or even turn her to stone, or some other cosmic devastation. She holds her hand out and in her palm is a small red flash drive. But.. "This is not the one. Tell me, do I look like a fool to you?" She mutters under her breathe, and stands up, walking backwards so she is in the center of the rooftop. You have faith she won't run, but her motives are not clear.

"What are you doing? I just said you cannot run. It is impossible."

"Oh, I'm not running, fool. --I'm calling for backup."
