What do the girls decide on?

Ouija Board Wins, 4-2

The six girls sat around the living room coffee table with the ouija board in the center, all jostling to get their hands on the pointer.

"I think we've got too many people," said Lisa.

"Oh, come on," said Tonya. "This'll be fun. Who's got a good question to ask?"

The girls looked around, and finally Beth piped up with, "What do we gotta do to get some excitement around here?"

No sooner had she gotten the last word out than the pointer practically came alive under the girls' fingers. As it traveled across the board, they called out the letters seen through the window in the pointer as it briefly paused.

"K...A...T...I...E..."

"What, Katie's the exciting one?" interjected Melissa. Maria shushed her because the pointer was still moving.

"C...A...L..." -- and here the pointer made a loop and returned to the same letter -- "L...T...H...E...S...H...A...P...E...R...S..." And at that, the pointer zoomed to the area labeled "GOOD-BYE" and stopped dead.

"'Katie, call thesh apers'? What the fuck does that mean?" wondered Lisa.

"No, I'm thinking it's 'call the shapers,'" said Tonya. She turned to Katie and said, "So call the shapers."

Katie stood up and then said, "On the phone? Oh, I think it's dead. Wait, I don't even know anyone named Shaper. You think I'm supposed to literally call?" She raised her voice a bit and turned towards a window. "Yoo-hoo, Shapers, it's Katie." Some of the other girls started to giggle. With a sweeping arm gesture, Katie yelled in the direction of the rainy night, "Come on over!"

The giggles turned to screams as lightning flashed and thunder crashed simultaneously as the window was thrown open, as if by an unseen hand. Five girls huddled on the couch. The frightened Katie stood rooted to the floor, feeling a cool mist from wind-blown rain coming into the house.

Two gray, ghostly figures swirled in through the open window and gently alighted on the floor in human form, albeit a fuzzy human form with no details visible. The girls were too scared to even scream. The one closest to the window pointed a finger -- or at least that's what it kind of looked like -- and the window slammed shut.

The other spirit spoke in Katie's direction, in a deep male voice. "Thank you for inviting us into your home. We are the Shapers."

Katie gulped and subconsciously ran her tongue over her dry lips. She found her voice and asked, "W-what do you want?"

Despite the lack of facial details, it almost seemed as if both spirits were grinning. This time, the other one spoke. "You six want some excitement. We two want to, as you might guess from our name, shape things. It sounds like a match made in he--" He paused and looked at the other spirit, then finished, "Made in hell."

Katie had never seen anyone look as terrified as her five friends did at that moment.

What next?
