Keith and Virginia drove up the snowy road toward the pass, their wipers swishing away the falling snowflakes.

"Wonder who it'll be this time," Keith mused.

"Probably a couple of skiers trying to rush the weather," Ginny said.

"Remember last year?" Keith asked.

"Yeah, those guys trying to cook dinner on their exhaust manifold while they drove up?" Ginny replied. "What a mess!"

"Hey, we saved most of it!" Keith said.

Ginny snorted.

The 4WD clipped one of the tall safety poles on the side of the road.

"Watch it!" said Ginny.

"OK, I'll slow down, we'll save the stories for later," Keith said.
