The snow started falling harder, and Virginia's knuckles started to blanch as she gripped the wheel tighter.

"I don't know, Ginny, we're gonna risk getting stuck ourselves if we don't..." Keith started. He hesitated and shouted, "There...There!" He smacked Ginny with one arm and pointed with the other. Ginny slowed down, but was hesitant to stop, but he did see the flash of a tail light through the snow coated pines. The tracks of the car had already been swallowed by the snow.

"I'm gonna stop, but we better be fast or we'll get stuck in this shit, too!" Ginny said, stopping in a less snow-filled patch under a rocky outcropping. Keith didn't even wait for the truck to stop completely before he jumped out and ran the hundred feet back to the stranded car while Ginny turned the Rover around to go back down the pass.
