Laughing "And that would be where you Latino Lothario?" then getting her dig in "I heard you done it in the sewers during training with Superslut McCoister!" I give her my hurt look and say nothing.

Ready she walks out again i follow her through the agent pool room,this time there isn't any snickering as we go by. She chooses 'Maria's Cafe' for our discussion over a repast of cheese toast and milky tea.

"So Emma why don't you fill me in on what you done since the scaring occurred!" i get right to the point as any good investigator would.

"When I finally healed I asked around but i couldn't afford any more treatment until I graduated training." she sips her tea "Even now i'm not sure i can afford it,I've look around but no feelers have comeback with any options for me that doesn't mean prosthetic breasts!"

Doctor Maiamom was ridicule for his theory that burn victims could be cured with tissue cloned from unburnt skin grafted to the burnt skin. He experimented on human subjects and was ready to present his results when he suddenly disappeared in 2019.Word on the street is that he succeeded but the government refused to allow clone tissue under moral grounds,aka no military application!, so he went awol,hiding right under the nose of the government right here in Washington.

Emma spits out a mouthful of tea all over me face. "Are you serious John,that's an unproven method that's outlaw by the F.A.I." wiping her mouth. "Besides no one had seen him since his disappearance!"

"Well If someone knew where he was would you try the treatment?" the look on her face is one of interest and one of being appalled by the suggestion. "Well Emma?....."
