"Which brings us to Aurora," said Hermione. Aurora? She was a famous Auror, and fought for years to stop Voldemort. Did they seriously suspect her?
"You've got to be kidding me," I said, "Voldemort hates her. She even helped in the first task, more than Karkaroff, and you cleared him just because he didn't kill you." It literally made no sense for them to suspect her.
"Noted," said Hermione, "but she's the only missing link right now. The only one we can't get information on. Our only lead." I was shaking my head because that seemed like so little to go off of compared to what they were saying.
"And she seems to like you," said Hermione, "she treats you differently than anyone else for whatever reason."
"She bloody loves you," said Ron in jealousy.
"Which is why you're the perfect candidate to get intel on her," said Harry. What was being asked of me?
"Intel," said Cho?
"Intel," said Hermione, "she seemed interested in you. So we are going to stroke those flames as much as possible. We can aim on getting her to going to the Yule Ball as your date, or just getting you a date with her in itself." They were wanting to help me seduce my teacher in order to get information, and they were going to help me. Brilliant!
"Oh Merlin," said Padma in disbelief. The trio went quiet, suddenly everyone was looking at me.
"So what do you say Idius," said Harry, "will you agree to help us get intel on Aurora." Potter held out his hand for me to shake, or to deny. But this mission seemed like such a dream. Hermione wasn't breathing awaiting my decision.
"Well," I said as I gripped Harry's hand, "Aurora does seem kind of sus."
