Open it

I place the pointer above the mysterious link and breathe as I ponder for a second whether i'm making the right call or not.

"Click" sounds the mouse button as i press it softly.
Almost instantly a web page seems to start opening, but it shuts down in an instant.

"That's weird" I say aloud as I try it again. I get the same result.

"It must be broken..." I say to myself as I hear my mom calling me once again.

"Danielle!!!" She says.

"I'm going!" I reply to her as I grab my stuff, hibernate my laptop, and walk out of my room.
