One week later...

A week had passed since that night. There were several more dates afterwards, along with several more rounds in Lucy's bed, and neither Kyle nor Lucy could've been happier. They both deleted their dating profiles as they knew they finally found the one for each other. But these two weren't the only happy couples...

Belle and Aregia had developed a mutually romantic and, surprisingly, rather wholesome relationship with each other.

Bee and Q still lived comfortably with one another, Quetzalcoatl himself moving in with The Lord of Gluttony and becoming co-owner of Glutton Gulch.

Levi was more than thankful that Uriel hadn't fallen since that night, the angel just as glad and surprised as the two planned out their wedding.

Mammo and Charity left for their Tahiti vacation the day after that night, much to Lucy's annoyance when she bought the tickets. There, the couple enjoyed the surf, the sun, and sand, and above all else, the hotel suite. In fact, they had stayed in the hotel suite for the first five days of the getaway, but the noises from inside constantly reminded the employees and other guests that they were there.

Ozzie still ran the love hotel professionally, but still made time to book "The God Room" for her, Baset and Anubis once and awhile, the three setting up a friends with benefits relationship. Humorously, it was The Demon Lord of Lust that was the sub to their dom, but she didn't mind. When her partners were that good in the sack...

Satie and Pazuzu had set up a relationship of their own and, surprisingly, invited Lilith to join them, the latter actually surprised by that. And for the first-time in millenia, as she woke up naked in her bed the following morning between both a naked Satie and Pazuzu, the former cuddling her as the latter embraced her, The Mother of All Demons actually cried tears of joy at finally being wanted.

True to their word, Buddy and Hailey gave up demon and monster hunting, the two moving in with each other into a farmhouse on the outskirts of the city. Buddy’s family adored Hailey like their own and Hailey's parents were quite taken to Buddy as well. Of course, when Hailey's Mom asked how the two met, the two quickly stammered out it was through a mutual friend... leaving out who this friend was.

And Grant and Roxie? Well...

"Oh my Dad! It's soooo cute!" Lucy exclaimed as she stared into the tarantula exhibit at the southern part of Aranyami's zoo.

It was another date that she and Kyle were on. Lucy had taken him on a, fully dressed, tour of the Northern part of the zoo, and now Kyle was taking her on a tour of the half reserved for mortals.

"Are you going to do that with every exhibit we pass?" Kyle asked with a laugh.

"I'm sorry, it's just... Why didn’t Satie or Lilith tell me that the animals of Eden were this cute?!" Lucy asked as they left the exhibit. "Those two are getting an earful later!"

"Y'know, I'm almost afraid you'll have a heart attack when we get to the pandas."

"Pandas?!"

"Or perhaps the baby goats at the petting zoo?" Kyle asked playfully.

"B-baby goats?!" Lucy squealed, a twinkle in her eyes at the thought as she only briefly registered that Kyle remembered that she said she loved goats. Grabbing his wrist, she pulled him along as she said, "What are we doing here?! Let's go!"

Kyle couldn't help but laugh as he allowed himself to be dragged along by his now over excited girlfriend. If anyone had told him a week ago that this was The Devil herself, he wouldn't have believed it in a million years. And yet, here he was with her, happier than he had ever been.

However, the two soon came to a stop as they approached the newly opened white-tailed deer exhibit, a large group of guests standing around and muttering in either disgust or amusement. Men and women were filming as mothers covered their children's eyes and dragged them away in disgust. Reporters and news cameras stared in stunned silence. Looking at each other in confusion, Kyle and Lucy walked forward to see what the fuss was about... Only to go wide eyed at what they were seeing.

There, in the middle of the exhibit, was Grant and Roxie, fully human, as the former stood on all fours over the woman with his eyes closed and ramming into Roxie. Roxie, on the other hand, was busy eating from a feed trough of grains and vegetables with a bored expression. The two occasionally grunted from their "mating", the yellow tags in their ears shaking a little.

"Alright! What's all this now?" Aranyami asked as she made her way through the crowd, using some sort of magic to hide her four extra arms. "It is their mating season, so there's nothing unnatural about deer going at it! They've had their shots and were looked over by our vets, and despite being particularly very active, they -" Aranyami came to a stop as she gasped, "BY SHIVA! What is the meaning of this?!"

At that outburst, Grant opened his eyes, looking over to the guests in confusion before looking down. A look of mortification and horror on his face as he froze at what he saw.

"Hey! Who told you to stop?!" Roxie snapped as she raised her head, feed falling from her mouth as she chewed with it open. Upon turning to Grant, however, she froze as she saw that they were now humans again, looking over to the surprised guests, Kyle and Lucy from behind the fence...

As well as one angry Aranyami.

"This..." Roxie gulped down the feed as she and Grant chuckled sheepishly, burning bright neon red. "This looks really, really bad right now, doesn't it?"
