In the far future, pollution, nuclear wars, and modified crops cause 99% births deformed. The existence of humanity is in danger. The greatest minds on Earth have gathered and "Progenitor 100 Project" is founded. After years of experimentation, through genetic technologies, 100 babies (20 males, 80 females) are born. They have no genetic disorder at all, means that every child born from them are healthy. The government holds a public lottery to select 100 people who will be their mate. And today is their 18th birthday, also the day when the result of the lottery will be announced.
