"One more bottle of wine, my good man," said Lucy to the waiter. "I'm still feeling thirsty."
"Actually you've had quite enough wine for tonight, Lucy," said Mina. "It's about time you leave some for the other people on the train."
"Oh, you're no fun anymore, Mina," said Lucy. "What's wrong with just one more bottle of wine before we all turn in?"
"You already ordered 'one more bottle of wine' three bottles ago," said Mina. "I like wine as much as the next person but there comes a time when you have to call it quits for the night. Besides, I've seen how you are when you have a hangover. I'd rather not go through that experience again."
"Very well," said Lucy. "I won't order a bottle for the table. Instead, I'll order a couple of glasses so that Dorian and I can go outside the dining car and toast the new moon."
"New moon?" asked Lawrence Talbot.
"Yes," said Lucy. "There's supposed to be a new moon tonight and Dorian and I were going to toast it."
"I think you're a bit confused, my dear Lucy," said Mina. "It's not a new moon tonight; it's a full moon tonight."
"Oh, of course," said Lucy. "How silly of me."
At that point, Lawrence Talbot hurriedly got up from the table and ran to the back of the train.
"How rude," said Lucy. "I realize he's American but I still would have thought he had better manners than to leave like that. Oh, well. How about you, Dr. Jekyll? Do you have any beverages I can imbibe for a moonlight toast?"
"Er, no," said Dr. Jekyll.
"Really?" asked Lucy. "Not even whatever you're carrying in that funny hip flask."
"Er, that's not really **** and you shouldn't be drinking that," said Dr. Jekyll. "It's something I invented for a scientific experiment and it -- it doesn't taste good."
"Oh really?" asked Lucy.
She went ahead and took a swig from the forbidden flask, then handed it back to Dr. Jekyll.
"Doesn't taste so bad to me," said Lucy.
