Which attempt to follow?
One Canary too many!
Calculator used some deep, dark contacts to find proof that there is some sort of romance going on between Green Arrow and Black Canary. Her nemesis- White Canary- uses this to set a trap for her...
"What a strange romantic," Black Canary muses as she climbs a fire escape, "Out on the rooftop, he says. Whatever."
She climbs to the top, but sees no sign of her lover.
Just then, a dart strikes her neck. She reacts by pulling it out, but it is too late.
"No man to see you tonight, dear," White Canary says, emerging from her hiding place on the roof, "Just me."
Instinctually, Black Canary goes to unleash her sonic cry...but it fails. Her throat is all closed up and constricted.
"That dart is going to keep you from using those powers for a while. You won't die though- not yet."
Angered and putting on a show of ****, Black Canary gets in her fighting stance to challenge her foe to a fight.
"Interesting offer...but I pass."
Another dart hits Canary, this time from the other side, and she feels herself weaken. As she passes out, she sees her rival run over and grab her.
"Good work, ladies. You can play with her a little before the big show as a reward."
The villainous ladies disappear into the night with the vigilante to enact their next evil plan of ****.
