On a stone table, in a clearing

You wake on a warm stone table. The early morning sun having cooked off the night's dew.

You are very naked, and very exposed. The clearing around you has some tall grasses and a few shrubs but nothing sizable as far as cover. A stone path extends from the ancient table you find yourself on. It weaves across the space and disappears into the far side of this temperate woodland.

You are sweating from lying in the sun for at least an hour or so. You also hear the crunch of feet on a path.
