On To Pineview

Amanda puts the envelope into her jacket pocket and turns to leave through the back. Going over to John's horse she lifts one hoof and uses the butt of her pistol to remove a couple of nails fro the horseshoe. Pocketing them Amanda unhitches her horse and mounts,riding off to Pineview.

After an hour has past and no sign of being followed Amanda takes time to open the envelope. A single sheet of folder paper is inside. Unfolding it Amanda begins to read

'John,
Make your way to Pineview and find Murphy and do what ever it takes to make him leave the country
Nathaniel Stone'

'Why does daddy want this Murphy out of the country?' Spurring the sides of the horse for more speed. Thinking 'I want to be in Pineview by nightfall, then come morning i'll try to find the Murphy!'

On she rode making the outskirts of Pineview by early sunset. Seeking an abandoned building Amanda find an old farm building with windows pointing into town and to the way she came. Settling in Amanda has a meal of Jerky and beans washed down with a slug of brackish water before drifting off in slumber.
