John Talks or Scorpion Walks
Oh Well That's Life!
"Christ Amanda you know your father as well as i do!" Giant beads of sweat breaking out on his forehead. "That man keeps his cards close to his vest!" Pulling on the ropes, trying to snap them or the wood they're attached to.
Amanda getting a little more impatience tips the bottle further. Inside the black creature starts to crawl up the smooth surface as far as it can before sliding back down. "The truth John, just tell me the truth!"
"Damn I've heard rumors you could be a cold hearted bitch since you left but i thought them bullshit!" Struggling harder, actually moving the bed from it's original position. "Put the lid back on the bottle and untie me,we'll talk!" Wet stains growing larger around his arm pit.
The bed knocks hard against Amanda legs, causing her to jerk suddenly backwards. The jar slips from her hand and lands open on the bed by John's leg. Seeing the jar fall, John's eyes widen in alarm. "Christ it's loose, Do something Amanda!" Struggling even harder, chest heaving up and down, muscles straining in his neck, John manages to snap a bedpost off. With a hand now free he starts swatting around him, then grabs his left side of his chest. Falling back onto the bed he lies there not moving, his chest still.
Amanda checks his breathing, finding none "Damn!" Reaching up Amanda closes John's eyes. "Why didn't you just talk?" A tear rolling down the left side of her face as she turns away. In her mind 'Pinewood holds the answer!" grabbing her gear, Amanda saddles her horse and starts the ride to Pinewood
