As Mark walked into the living room, he found his mom on her cell phone looking quite flustered. "Okay Sharon, I'll be right there...relax, it'll be alright. Bye." She sighed and turned to him. "There are problems at work, I won't be able to take you."

"Well" replied Mark, "If you can't take me, and Phil can't take me, then I guess I'll have to stay."

"You're not getting out of this that easily. Mandy, I need you to do me this one favor." Mandy looked up, "I hope you're not expecting me to waste my whole day driving dorkboy to some lame camp in the middle of nowhere." Elva reached into her purse. "Here, this should pay for gas and whatever else you want to buy out there. I need to go. Please don't let me down."

Mark watched his mom leave and his stepsister fondle the money. "Well I guess I'm stuck with you for three hours. If you didn't fail driver's ed, we wouldn't have to chauffeur your lazy ass around. You need to grow up and take some responsibility for your life." There was no way Mark was going to ride in this bitch's car. But what other options were there?
