"We need someone that's good with computers so we can learn about their defenses, cameras and to get a map of the complex, Dan says. We need to keep this mission to the three of us. More people means more chances to get caught."
"Sounds like a good plan Dan" Lindsay giggles.
"Let's find somewhere to hold up and get something to eat and then we'll leave for this town after dark, about 11pm. We'll travel by night and hide during the day. According to the sign on the highway back there, there's a town a few miles away. We'll head there and stay there until 11."
"Good idea" Lindsay says. "Then we can look for some supplies to help us on our way."
You head back with Lindsay to the highway and can't believe your luck in finding this girl. You can't help but wonder if it's a set up and you're going to be caught. Could Lindsay actually work for the HFS and is just a good liar? You hope not, but find it very convenient that you wandered up when she was caught up in a net and that she wants to destroy the HFS as much as you do. Well, maybe not the destroying HFS part, but you can't help thinking you're going to get caught. Maybe you can get some information on your own and see if she's telling the truth.
You walk back with her to the highway and start walking to the town. Along the way you share stories of what happened to you and your friends and families after the comet hit the Earth.
After a couple of hours of walking you see the outskirts of the town. It's deserted, but looks like there was some recent activity here. Some of the street lights are on and so are some lights in the buildings along the road. You decide you have to head to somewhere to see if you can find some information. You need information on what happened to this town and on where to go from here.
"We can head to one of several places" Lindsay mentions
"What are those?" Dan asks
"Well, we can head to the high school, library, city hall, or medical centre."
"How do you know this town has all those places?"
"There's a map of the town and the places of interest over there on a board by the town sign" Lindsay says
