"Great! Here's the first book that you'll be reading." Janet handed you a small yellow book, with no title or author on it. "Take some time to read it at home, and come back to us with what you think. We've all read it before, so we'll wait on you for a new opinion. We meet Wednesdays and Saturdays, and anyof us would love to give you a ride to and from your house!" Janet smiled, and then walked into the kitchen.

As you looked down at the yellow book, Caroline piped up. "I'd love to give you a ride home today, if you'd like!" Her cheery disposition was disarming, and all of the other girls let loose a chuckle. "_Suuure _you would, Caroline." Veronica looked up from her book, rolled her eyes, and then continued reading. Janet yelled from the other room, "Hey, I drove him here! He can go back with me!"

Caroline walked into the kitchen. Left alone with the others, you excused yourself to the bathroom, where you overheard them speaking.
