He looks down, pretending not to know what she is talking about.

"What do yo mean?" he asks.

She glares at him, trying to judge whether or not he is lying to her. And apparently she was good, because she could tell he was. Who needs mind control powers with people skills like that?

"Alright, you got me." He half thought she said "rude boy," but there was no point in keeping up the charade.

"So, out with it. How have you not gotten in trouble yet?"
