"Good morning Luitenant," Voyager's chief of security greets me.

"Morning Tuvok, please call me Bellona," it must be the hundreth time I've told him.

"I believe we have discussed that, it's inapropriate for officers to refer to one another by name, though I understand the command structure wasn't as strict in the Macci." He's always refering to the time some of the other officers and I spent in the terrorist rebels, as though we were fighting for the fun of it.

"Then do you mind if I call you 'Tuvok' I've sorta gotten used to it," it's a lie I'm used to calling him by rank. But I'd love to get Tuvok warmed up to me, you never know when his Thon Par would come. At least I didn't yet.

Tuvok tells me to have a good day as the lift doors openand he gets off on his office's deck.
