When Home-Ec ended, Julie rushed over to the window to grab her shirt. Unfortunately an overweight boy with crooked teeth and a buzz cut beat her there. He grabbed the shirt from the window sill and held it up over his head when she tried to grab it.

"Hey, not so fast, new girl."

"Just give her back her shirt, Jim Cooper," Mary said while giving the boy a wink and a thumbs up behind Julie's back.

"Yeah, I could give you this shirt back," Jim said. "Or, I could throw it out the window. Decisions, decisions."

"Please give it back," Julie said, "it's the only clothes I've got."

"Okay, okay, you can have your shirt back. But first I want some entertainment."
