Not yet, but soon...

As you came back to consciousness, you heard a soft sniffling sound.

"Ahh, I'm sorry, I was in such a rush that I didn't see him before it was too late!" A soft feminine voice said from next to me as I rolled over, pushing myself into a sitting position simultaneously.

The first thing I saw was a girl next to me on her knees in a apologetic pose with long pink hair and small tears forming at the corners of her green eyes. This was most certainly Moka Akashiya.

The second thing he saw was Kurumu standing behind Moka, cheeks puffed up, glaring at the oblivious vampire attempting to apologize for turning you into a pancake.

Drip. Drip. You heard the muffled sounds of liquid hitting the ground, and thought it was Moka's tears. However, as you started to assure the girl that you were fine, you realized that it wasn't her tears, but instead small drops of your blood leaking from a small cut on your head where you'd been forcibly planted into the dirt.

Apparently you were the only one to notice as Moka sniffles ceased as yo saw her nose slightly twitch as she looked up, her green eyes staring directly into yours with a hazy film as if she was drunk before her eyes drifted slightly higher.

_"She smells my blood... did I forget to change my blood into that of a Youkai's, do I still smell like a human or something?" _You internally wondered as Moka seemed to lean forwards towards your face with what appeared to be a small bit of drool.

Apparently deciding that was enough, Kurumu walked over, yanking you to your feet with a fiery glare leveled at Moka who seemed almost disappointed as you were pulled away from her. "I'm sorry, but we must be going or we'll be late for class! Goodbye!" Kurumu said rudely as she marched away towards the school, dragging you with her as you gave a sort of half wave to Moka as you left.

It took another ten minutes at the hurried pace Kurumu set for the pair to reach the school, and another five to find their homeroom which, despite it being nearly time for class to start, had numerous gaps in seating.

Kurumu dragged you to a corner, although you didn't really resist, before telling you to take the seat right behind her.

"Are you okay angel?" You whispered as the fire in Kurumu's eyes seemed to fall to her cheeks as she turned a lovely shade of red. Normally you didn't like to tease people, but it left a nice feeling in your chest whenever you managed to make Kurumu blush.

Before she could answer, a blonde woman walked into the class, taking her place at the front.

"Hello class, and welcome to Youkai Academy! My name is Shizuka Nekonome and I will be your homeroom teacher." The blonde woman began, turning around to begin writing on the chalkboard as a cat tail peeked out from under her clothes, swishing in the air.

"As I'm sure you are aware Youkai Academy is a school for monsters to attend away from the human world. As things stand right now, humans outnumber us nearly 10-to-1 so for the course of your education here, you will attend classes in your human forms, to get a better understanding of how to coexist with humans understand?" Nekonome... sensei? asked.

"As such, students found showing off their monster forms in public areas will be severely reprimanded!" Nekonome ordered.

"Hehe, wouldn't it be more effective to just gobble up all those disgusting humans, or in the case of beautiful girls use them as slaves to replenish our numbers?" A voice said nearby to you, a blonde guy with a near perpetual sneer.

"Hmm, that could work... NOT!" Nekonome shouted looking down at the chart on her desk, "Saizo Komiya."

The class jumped at the sudden shift in personality of their teacher as she went back to drawing on the chalkboard, only to be interrupted by the door opening.

"Uhmm, excuse me, I'm sorry for being late, I got lost and couldn't the classroom." The young girl said as Shizuka assured the girl that it was fine since it was only the first day and was supposed to be Orientation.

Her worries waylaid, the girl entered the classroom, politely closing the door behind her.

"Wow, she so beautiful." One guy said.

"Yeah, the hottest girl on campus by far." Another agreed.

"I wonder if she single." A third interjected.

"Be my girlfriend." Saizo said, standing up, all but ordering Moka to follow his orders.

"Hmm, oh it's you guys!" Moka said happily, charging past Saizo as she ran over to you and Kurumu, who you noticed seemed to be digging her nails into her desk.

"You ran off before I could introduce myself earlier, I'm Moka Akashiya and I hope we can be great friends." Moka said, partially bowing before both you and Kurumu, who seemed to be letting the desk live a little while longer.

"Huh, that guy?" Someone said.

"How'd he get so lucky to have two hot babes like that?" Another boy questioned.

"Maybe he has **** photos on them?" A girl interjected this time.

Regardless of the reason, Saizo looked like he was about to blow a fuse at the lack of attention of the #1 and #2 hottest girls in class.

"Hmm, it seems you already know them, Ms. Moka, so why don't you take the empty seat next to him and we can get back to our Orientation, okay?" Shizuka said as Moka smiled, nodding in the affirmative as she took the seat next to me.

It was a grueling next few hours until the school bell echoed through the school, normally signalling the change of classes, today it was the release bell since Orientation only served as a half day, giving students equal time to get used to the layout of the school as well as getting to know their fellow students.

However, a Moka stood up, happy to have made at least a few friends today, she noticed the blue haired girl dragging the boy away, muttering something about how she wasn't going to let anyone get in the way of her plan.

Moka just tilted her head to the side as she began wandering the halls, trying to find a vending machine. She was in **** need of tomato juice after the smell of that boy's blood sent her into hunger pangs.
