Not surprising, He's a model too.

"Miguel is a model too."

Luke turned to Miguel who was now sitting at the table smiling and waving while wearing nothing but a towel. Luke could only nod solemnly, "Yeah, I buy that."

"Lately, he has been thinking about taking his career overseas. He has already made it big in his own country so quite a few studios and magazines have reached out to him to add some diversity to their merchandise." Marlene explained.

"But what does any of that have to do with me?" Luke was curious.

"Miguel wants to join our agency by going into modeling with you over here. He was also presented with some acting gigs that would suit you guys. You're the reason why he even chose our agency despite the fact that we haven't built a reputation yet. Miguel already has a name in the industry, all you have to do is tag along with him and you will be presented with more opportunities than you can imagine."

"Oh, I get it. You don't actually want me, you want tall, dark, and grabby over there. I'm just the bait to lure him in." Luke spoke bitterly.

"We do want you Hanes! You have a look that is more...relatable, to most people. We just need a little tall, dark, and grabby to get that look off the ground first."

"Gee, thanks." Luke said sarcastically.

"Why don't you give it some thought," Taylor reasoned "you do have a lot to gain from this. We promise to take care of everything."

Luke scratched the back of his head. The whole idea of him becoming a model/actor seemed too surreal. Though he did like the idea of making a ton of cash being a model, something about it just didn't feel right. As if there were something they were not telling him. "I'll think about it." Luke walked out of the kitchen and towards the stairs. He was halfway up when he heard the sound of footsteps approach him from behind.

Luke turned around to find Miguel looking hopefully at him. "Hanes," Miguel walked up the stairs and tugged at the hem of Luke's shirt "we model together?"

"Look, buddy, I'm sure you're a nice guy despite our...first super awkward and inappropriate meeting but I just don't think this is meant for me. I'm not a stunner like you and this whole thing was started by an embarrassing video of me in my underwear Marlene sent you, so I find it pretty sketchy."

Miguel took a few more steps up towards Luke and placed his hands on his shoulders. "Hanes is most beautiful. Everyone will know him." Miguel looked Luke straight in the eye. His tone was serious but Luke was more put off by the fact that Miguel was three steps beneath him on the stairs yet still looked much taller than him.

"What are you going to do if I say no?"

"I go back to Argentina."

This actually had an impact on Luke, "Hold on, what about everyone else? Those guys worked so hard to get this crummy business going. Without you they can't even start getting jobs. Are you really just going to leave them?"

"Are you?"

He had him there. Marlene's agency could still take off if Miguel stayed but Miguel was only staying for Luke. He considered walking away but in the end, he knew he couldn't do this to Max, Marlene, or his other friends who were so deeply invested in this. This may have been their dream, and Luke was still unsure on what he wanted to do with his life after easily quitting his job. Was he really going to walk away purely because of his pride? Luke now looked at the handsome model directly in the face. He looked like a pleading puppy dog **** for his master to give him a treat. Does he really want to work with me that badly? Luke thought. He groaned knowing what was going to happen next, "Alright, fine! I'll stick around and join this stupid agency. But you have to do everything I tell you to do from now on, got it?"

Miguel looked so happy Luke thought he was going to jump over the moon right there and then. "Si! Your wish, my command Hanes!" Miguel pulled Luke toward him kissing him full on the mouth.

Luke pushed the other man away rubbing his mouth with the back of his hand, his face as red as a beet. "Dude! I am going to make that one of my rules: #1. Keep your hands to yourself, dumbass!"

"Hm?" Miguel smiled and tilted his head.

Luke rolled his eyes, "That's my next rule: #2. learn some goddamned English!"

Miguel stood straight and gave him a salute, "Yes, Hanes, sir!" He still looked handsome acting silly while in nothing but a towel.

"That's another rule: #3. My name is Luke. LUKE! L-U-K-E! Get used to hearing it!"

"Hm?" Miguel tilted his head again.

Luke shook his head, exhausted by this whole conversation. He ascended the staircase trying to think of more thinks for Miguel to do then turned around to see him watching Luke proudly with his hands on his hips. It's just so unfair that this pervert has to be so good looking! It bugs me! "Oh yeah, rule #4: Always remain covered up whenever your over here! Nobody wants to see you waving your giant dick around!"

"Hm?" Miguel's head tilted.

Luke frowned and started motioning around his pelvis to demonstrate, "Don't be naked. Stay covered up!" Miguel looked thoughtful for a moment, then he smiled and opened up his towel before Luke, showing him the goods. Luke blushed and covered his eyes waving at Miguel, "Close that up idiot!" Miguel looked confused but retied his towel around his waist anyway. Luke sighed, "Just focus on rule #2 for now. I'm going to head on upstairs for a bit to think. You go back to the others or just get out of here for all I care...where are you even staying anyway?"

"I will stay with Hanes." Clearly Luke couldn't communicate his questions as of yet. Luke proceeded upstairs when Miguel called out again, "Hanes is best person and makes everyone happy. Usted es tan lindo. Es por eso que te amo."

"What?" Luke scratched his head.

"Te amo, Hanes. Te amo!" Miguel patted his bare chest.

Luke still wasn't sure what Miguel was saying but he guessed by the context that he was paying him a compliment; probably saying: you're cool or you're nice. Luke didn't know what to do other than to pay him back with what he thought was praise, "That's great Miguel...um...'Te amo', right back at you too!"

Miguel stepped back for a moment looking as if he had been offered some great gift he had been overwhelmed by. "Really?" He asked.

Luke could tell that whatever this was it meant a lot to the guy so he just drove it home, "Uh...yeah? Sure! Te amo Miguel!" Luke raised his arms for emphasis "Te amo a whole bunch! A lot! Te amo!"

If Luke thought Miguel was happy before, his reaction now didn't even compare to the inexplicable joy Miguel had now. His dazzling smile was wide and his cheeks turned pink giving him some saintly glow. Miguel pumped his fist in the air and jumped looking as if he had just won the super bowl. He shouted something in Spanish then went off to join the others in the kitchen.

Luke blinked, "Damn, I really made his day." As Luke turned to move up the stairs again, Miguel circled back for one last word.

"Hanes, Te amo. Es verdad." Miguel placed his hand over his heart before rounding towards the kitchen once again.

Luke gave him a thumbs up as he left, "Yes, Te amo Miguel and don't you forget it! So glad that you're happy. Te amo!...whatever the hell that means..." Luke mumbled that last part so nobody heard him. He went about his day having no idea the real consequences that were to unfold over what he just unknowingly said.

For now, he could only think about what kind of work he will be doing for Marlene.
