Not now

"Ja" You exclaim and you get up from the dinner table and scoop her up in your arms. "Ja we are about to start feeding time and Z7 was talking. We haven't gone through rules and being polite yet so I forgive you but you shouldn't interrupt." You explain.

"I hungry" she wined.

"I know and it is feeding time so we can sort that out but first listen to me." You replied caringly. "First, don't talk if someone else is talking, that's rude. Let them finish then you can talk. Second, If people are doing something together and you need something don't just shout out what you need. If there is a door knock, like this" and you show her how to knock on the door. She tries it but her hand just goes splat. "You have to make your hand solid and hard if you can." You instruct.

"Ok, I try." Ja replied. You see her hand form a fist like yours did and turn opaque and she knocked.

"Good girl." You prase her. "Now, back to the rules. If there is no door or the door is open say excuse me. The Third and final rule for now, if you want to eat someone ask them, not me. It is their decision, not mine. However, we are about to eat and it would be rude to have Z7 prepare food for it to go to waste so either you can order food too or wait until we are done."

"OK daddy, how order food?" Ja asked

You took her back to the table and she sat on your lap, you noticed that the part of her touching you had become opaque to stop you sinking in.

"She's adorable, I will totally let her eat me later." Jenny commented.

"Just be careful, she is a new species and we don't know how her body works yet." You reply.

"Ok" Came Z7's voice from above now that everything is settled let's get back to the feeding. Unfortunately, we do not have Ja's dietary requirements yet or food prepared. Since she seems keen to eat people, do we have a volunteer from the audience?"
