You appreciate the flattery but something about this encounter is making you back off, and you're starting to get more interested in the one who's flossing behind him.
"My name's Sam," the big guy says, and you shake his hand. "Doe. Who's your friend?"
The friend turns to look at you startled. "I'm Chris. We were just getting some lunch. Or I was. Do you want a tour of campus?"
