In the two months John had continued to refine his mastery over the Mangekyō Sharingan and the Amaterasu more specifically, he found that he could Use the Susano'o's first stage in conjuction with the Amaterasu to form a Shield of Black Flames. He also took an interest in the capabilities and usefulness of Sand in a battle. So he ordered thwt several Root members spy on the Sand Siblings, while he put in a special order for Sand from the Hidden Sand Village, along Iron Sand and Goldust. John would eventually spy on the Sand Siblings himself and record the Sand Jinchūriki's Moves with his Eye of Insight Sharingan, and soon enough and hopefully by the time of the end of the reprieve he would have gathered a wide assortment of counter Jutsu for the siblings moves.

But John felt his Taijutsu was lacking and trained under might guy in the spare time he had, he trained with Guy so much that he could eventually open six of the Eight Gates Taijutsu Fighting Style by the start of the next Exams. But those exams were starting already and the Semi-Final match ups were set, John would face The Sasuke, the Redhead Would face Shikamaru, the Blond Would face Tenten, the Make up would face Shino, the Sound Redhead would face Ino, Kiba would face Sakura and Neji would face Hinata. He was concerned about Neji's match and specifically ordered him to not loose control.

But as the first Match was set to begin everyone looked to the Screen displaying who'd face who........
