North (the town)

Deciding to make your way towards the town, You begin the descent, quickly picking up a trail that seems to head in the same direction you follow along, soon arriving at the open gates to the town.

A market takes up the bulk of the road ahead of you, a bustle of people drifting from one stall to the next. The residents of town seem to be a mixture of races, and though hazy you recognise a number of them from readings back in your world, Funny how they match descriptions almost to a tee. You recognise the more common races of elves, dwarfs and even a few orcs, “possibly half orcs?”

Somewhat less common you can make out the lithe figures of tabaxi, cat like beings, with long tails swishing behind them and a couple of earring peaking above their head. Rarer still you notices the occasional lamia, sliding it’s way through the crowd, the crowd flowing around them, clearly trying not to get too close.
