You push your bangs out of the way and fill yourself with resolve as you slowly start to walk by your landlord's apartment but as soon as you are in front of the door, he swings it open yell

"You are late on rent again Brittany!"

You yelp and jump back feeling your face flush and your heart pound.

"I'm s..sorry Eddie I.. I will have the money I'm going to an interview right now actually."

"That's not soon enough, I'm going to have to send the eviction notice"

The gruff man mumbles as he looks over your body.

You look down in shame, but you know it's the best course of action he has always looked at you like a piece of meat and you knew he wouldn't turn it down.

Eddies eyes looks at you like it never once crossed his mind, but then a smile slowly starts to appear on his scruffy mouth

"Step inside Brittany" is all he says as he opens the door.

You check your watch and see you have 35 minutes to get to your interview.

"It's gotta be quick" you say avoiding looking at him.

Eddie laughs replying "oh I'm sure it will be."

You step inside his apartment, lean your back against the door and slowly slide down until you are on your knees. Refusing to look up you hear the unmistakable sound of a zipper being pulled down.
