Resuming her position, she waited for me to try again. Bending down, I reached under her arms this time shifting my grip slightly so that I could pick her up easier. We ran a few more races without having our coach standing over us before we decided to call it a day. Gathering up our stuff we all went to our respective locker rooms and changed into normal clothes for our journey home. Then we all met up in the parking lot.

"So, Riley, Mia do you guys want to come over today? I have nothing to do and wouldn't mind some company."

"Sorry Jenna, I can't today. I have to go help my parents out around the house." Mia responded.

"I can." Riley said with a quick look at me that I just barely noticed out of the corner of my eye.
