You’re able to find your way to the Pokemon Center without running into any other suspicious characters. Maybe that’s not the nicest way to think of the people who helped you, but seriously, there was something weird about that pair.

You walk through the automatic doors and there she is. Nurse Joy. Smiling like a million bucks. “H-H-How!?” you cry. Not that Nurse Joy pays it any acknowledgement.

“Welcome, Emilia, to the Vermilion Pokemon Center! I see your tits haven’t popped themselves free from that skimpy tank top of yours. What a shame. The people have a right to see!”

You roar back, “Nobody has a right to see my breasts! Or any other part of me for that matter! And, and, why are you here!? You were in Cerulean and Saffron so you can’t be here too!”

Nurse Joy places a hand on her cheek and looks at you with pity. “Why Emilia, I work at the Pokemon Center, so I’m here at the Pokemon Center. That’s not strange at all.” She continues as she steps out from around her desk, “Now quit thinking so much. It’s dangerous for a girl like you. Just follow me to your room.” Looks like you’re not getting anything out of her, except backhanded insults to your intelligence…

She leads you straight to the same room as your last two stays, acting like nothing at all is amiss. You’re about to ask why she keeps picking the same room, or why she even bothers to remember which room you stayed in, but…

“If you need anything else, just let me know! Have a nice stay Emilia!” Nurse Joy says, closing your door abruptly.

…it’s a little bit hard when you’re being herded into your room like cattle. Oh well. Looks like she remains a mystery for another day.

Compared to when you shared a room with Samantha, your stay at the Pokemon Center is very uneventful. Just like in Saffron City, you find a pair of pajamas ready for you, and you gladly change into them while the TV plays a show about office workers antagonizing each other. You can’t help but feel bad for the one with the glasses. He’s just trying his best but no one ever takes him seriously. You can relate.

You turn off the TV and tuck yourself into bed.
