The mirror was actually an enchanted piece of glass with a duplicate bathroom on the other side. The nude "reflection" of Elizabeth was actually an elaborate illusion conjured by John to trick her.

She banged on the enchanted glass, hoping it would give.

"Let me out!!!" Elizabeth yelled. The illusion of her reflection vanished as she was surrounded by the strobe lights and the hypnotic mantra.

"I.. have.. tttooo resissst!!!!" Elizabeth yelled slower as she slowly fell under the control of the strobe lights and mantra.

"I am a mirr- no!! I'm Elizabeth Olsen! I'm Elizabeth...." Elizabeth said, slowly losing her grip on reality as the strobe lights penetrated her mind. She dropped to the floor, her mind broken by the strobe lights. She then stood at attention, her mind empty. She stared directly through the glass.

"I am a mirror...." Elizabeth said in monotone. The strobe lights shut off.

Elizabeth continued staring through the glass, awaiting anyone to enterShe was now a human mirror. Anyone who entered the bathroom would find the pane of glass and Elizabeth's entranced, nude body on the other side in the duplicate bathroom. She would mimic their exact move, no matter how strange.
