John didn't deactivate total control just yet. He selected the memory tab again.

"You don't really NEED any of these memories, do you Jessica?" he chuckled.

He deleted all the memories, and before he could press enter a warning came up on screen.

WARNING: DELETION OF ALL MEMORIES MAY RESULT IN PERMANENT COGNITIVE DAMAGE. DO YOU STILL WISH TO DELETE?

John typed 'Yes'.

DELETING...DELETING...

Jessica twitched a bit as every memory was sapped from her head.

DELETION COMPLETE. PLEASE INPUT NEW MEMORIES.

"Before I do that..." John said. He released the now memory-less Jessica from total control.

Jessica looked completely confused at where she was. "Um..." she said.

"Can I help you, miss?" John asked.

"Yes," Jessica said. "I can't remember anything at all about myself. Do you know who I am?"
