He's about to take off your shirt. Do you let him?
No
Allison reached down and pulled her friend’s hands away from her shirt. Making out was one thing but once clothes start coming off it is very hard to stop. Maybe that is why her aunt always told her to never get in the back of cars with boys. Allison looked into her would have been lover’s eyes and spoke
“Hey um….I don’t….I don’t think I’m ready for that” she said softly but firmly
“What? Why?” her friend asked
“Look the kissing was nice I won’t lie but I feel like this is going in a direction I am not quite ready for” the young woman responded
“Well maybe we can go back to the kissing and go from there” he said as he moved back over to her in an attempt to resume their making out
“Um...no. Listen I don’t know what I was thinking there. I guess I’m feeling a little **** and making out with you felt so good but….” she paused at this next part as it was sure to hurt his feelings “I don’t think of you that way. You’re super sweet and nice and I love you as my friend….just not more than that” she finished
The pain on her friend’s face was unmistakable. It was obvious that he liked her as more than a friend and now had the difficult task of putting away his romantic feelings and trying to move forward. Jason just simply nodded at this, got his shirt back on, and got back in the front seat.
The rest of the drive to the con was in silence but Jason did seem to be in somewhat better spirits once they arrived at the convention.
Arriving at the Convention
