Joe comes to town the next day and tells you about the great money he has been making working construction and thinks you should leave town with him. You tell Karen that you will send her money to help with little Kevin. You and Joe leave to work construction across the country. You and Joe never make much as you both spend your money on booze, pot, and women. You never stay in one place more than six months as you or Joe fuck it up by knocking up a chick or getting fired for missing too much work. You arrived here at your current town after spending six months in the last. You and Joe owed too much money to your pot dealer and decided to skip town.

You haven't sent money or talked to Karen or little Kevin in almost two years. You and Joe sleep in sleeping bags in the back of his truck. Today Joe starts work stoned out of his mind and is driving the forklift. You are leading him and he hits a wrong lever and the load of plywood drops on you and kills you. Joe jumps into his truck, figuring he is in great trouble, and speeds away. A cop sees him and gets behind him to check him out. The cop notices a broken turn light and turns on his lights to give Joe a warning. Joe, all paranoid, takes off speeding at full speed. The cop follows and stops two miles later when Joe's truck is slammed into by a big rig semi. Joe is dead from running a red light to avoid a vehicle malfunction warning.
