No, I had gotten everything I wanted from this visit. My father no longer saw her the way he used to and had started to treat her the same way I did without even knowing the full story. I could only imagine what was going through Megan’s head now, but I knew for certain that she knew my father no longer really respected her.

“No, I think we are going to head out.” I said taking another long pull of my beer. “Megan is probably going to have to drive though.” My father chuckled and agreed as he watched the door.

We said our goodbyes and after Megan changed we drove back to the house.
