No thanks

You take a sip of your tea before telling him the hard news. You tell him you're flattered but, you believe this is not the best time for this with everything going on.

"No, yeah, you're right, it was dumb of me to ask. Honestly I figured you'd say that." He smiles at you but you can tell he's a little disappointed.

"I guess we should talk about the zombies themselves huh? I figure you don't know much about them." You nod in responce as you nibble on a digestive.

"Well they're violent, I'm sure you've seen what they can do already. Their nails get real tough, and they fuse with the bone, allowing them to use them as claws, like a cat would have." He stares into space. "They're rather intelligent to boot, but less so than us? They seem to be driven more by basic animal needs, maybe they're as smart as they were uninfected but they choose to be more primal? I don't know, I've only got what I've gathered from looking."

"A week ago I was scavenging around for food, and I happened to sneak through into a supermarket downtown, and well, there was just this one that kept following me, a big brute, kept eyeing me up, but he just kept his distance. If he weren't a zombie he'd be on the top of my list of, you know, peeps I'd like to fuck. I've heard they like to do that, rush in on some people and kill them immediatly, and some they just like to stalk... I got out of there when I got the chance." He paused. "Hey, are you alright?"

You haven't noticed that you've been steadily shaking. Your head hurts, and your heart starts to beat fast in panic. You look at your cup of tea and drop it on the carpet. It was the tea! There was something in the tea!

Your vision goes blurry and you pass out, the last thing you see is Jo's face, grinning smugly.
