You stared at Teller for a few moments. Mouth agape.

"Well, Jane? Would you like a drink now" He asked again.

"I... uh..." you squeaked out, finally coming to your senses. "No thank you. Not at work." The absolute last thing you needed was **** and trying to manage these stupid shoes EDNA had gotten you into.

Raymond smiled. "Great. We'll grab drinks after work, to celebrate your first day."

"Wait... I..." you started to explain when there was a knock on Teller's doorframe. You turned to see Wendy smiling at you.

"If you're done with Jane, Ray, I need to get her settled in."

"Right. Sorry, we were having such a pleasant conversation. Se you later then, Jane. I'm looking forward to it." He helped you out of the chair and walked you, with his hand in the small of your back, over to Wendy. "She's all yours,"

You slowly walked out of Teller's office, confused at how dropping off some files turned into essentially a date over drinks with another guy.

This had to end. Now. You needed some time to collect your thoughts and figure out what to do before you got into any more trouble here. You needed just a few minutes, alone.

"Uh... can I use the restroom?" You squeaked out to Wendy.

"Oh, sure. First day nerves, huh?" Wendy winked at you. "The ladies room is right over here."

She led you to the door with the "female" icon on it. You felt creepy, going in there, but as you were dressed, she really gave you little choice.

You opened the door and slowly walked into the bathroom. After a quick scan, you allowed yourself a quick exhale when you realized you were alone. You quickly minced into a stall, sat down, and locked the door to the stall.

Tearing open your purse, you grabbed that phone. Maybe you could get a cab, an Uber.... something to get you out of here. Maybe you could play like you're sick?

You activated the phone. There was a beep, and EDNA's voice came out. "Hello Jane. Would you like to make a call, or was there something else I could do for you?"

"EDNA! I need to get out of here!" you yell whispered into the phone.

"Is the interview that you had scheduled not going well?" The voice asked.

"What? No! It went a little too well! I wound up hired here!" You told EDNA.

"Employment noted. Work location saved. Congratulations, Jane." EDNA told you.

"This is no cause for congratulations, EDNA! People here think I'm a woman and a big shot here asked me out on a date for dunks this evening!"

"Date with Executive noted," EDNA said. "Is this casual or will you require a change of clothes?"
