No one answers, so you walk on

The pair of you stand and watch, waiting for a reply, but there is no reply.

“Come on Luce, let’s get going, I reckon you’re just going mad,” you laugh. She gives the trees one last scan, but then turns back in the direction you had been travelling, and continues down the path towards the exit.

“There was definitely someone there Dani, I’m sure there was,” she tells you as you reach the exit, walking back out onto the road.

“Probably a bloody squirrel, when was the last time you had you eyes tested?” you tease her. “Anyway, where we going first hun?”
