No. But You and Doe Win.

Splash! The last cup is hit.

"Yes!", yells Doe, jumping and giving me a tight squeeze. Then without breaking the hug, she tilts her face upwards, looks into my eyes and does a tiny hop to give me a peck on the cheek.

Its only 3 beers in the ten cups but we've both been drinking mixed drinks on the side, so I guess Doe has gotten a bit tipsy. She's gotten more and more excited, and the long hug and kiss on the cheek at the end of the game probably prove it.

"Wanna play another?", I ask, when she finally lets go of me.

"Sure", she replies, smiling.

We setup the table again, and Doe calls her friends Jenna and Alice over to play against us. I grin, knowing that I'll most likely win this game.

A few minutes later, Doe is again hugging me, as we beat Jenna and Alice pretty easily. I suspect Doe is happy to beat her friends, as she playfully taunts the two girls.

"Its only cause you had John on your team!", shoots back Jenna, grinning.

"Yeah, John is good. Let me play with him", adds in Alice.

"No! We're gonna be pong partners for life now. Right?" Doe looks up at me.

"Of course Doe, we're gonna rule the pong world together", I say, happy with how things are going.
