Does she lie?
No *
Harley quickly ponders the idea of using this event as her means to freedom by lying to the police. However, she quickly realizes that Joseph will surely protest and claim she is lying when she tells the police that she is not a slave. The government has a database of all the slaves and their masters, which the police will check if two people's stories are conflicting. As a result, THEY WILL KNOW she is lying and likely take her away for retraining. And if rumors are true, retraining is far worse than whatever Joseph will do to her.
The fear of retraining drives her to tell the truth. "yes, sir. I am that man's slave" as he point towards Joseph.
The office instantly turns towards Joseph. "Oh, I am sorry, Well we will be leaving then. However, I do ask you to be a little bit quieter from now on; there is a noise limit in this apartment building."
With that, the police exited Joseph's apartment. Neither man wanted to have sex after that, not that they could; they both were too busy fixing the door that was bearly hanging off the hinges.
