Will She Get Out Of The Park Now?
No, Their Are Four Men
While walking towards the entrance/exit, Emma heard a voice. And she heard more than one voice. Slightly to her left, she noticed a group of four men around her age standing around a car talking happily under one of the streetlights. It took Emma seconds to scramble back onto the trail, glad she hadn't been seen. She stood waiting for the men to leave, but they appeared not to be in a hurry.
Now, what do I do? Emma wondered. She glanced at the khaki fabric clutched to her chest. All she had left were her half-torn pant legs and the khaki fabric scrap. I can't sit around here all night like this.
It was difficult for Emma to see the men from the far side of the parking lot. She wondered if there was anything she could do to avoid their eyes. As she walked under one of the overhanging lights, Emma could not risk being seen by the young men. There were three lights between her and the exit.
