Dack felt nothing but panic as Sherry Ginn smiled at him. Dropping his haversack, he mumbled something about not being ready for this and started running off into the darkness. There was some shouting behind him but he just keep running. Around 06:00 Dack finally reached a highway and stopped. A couple of trucks passed by and he realised what he'd done, how he could never go back to that dream.

Regretfully he stuck out of thumb, the age old sign of needing a lift, and started to walk. Nearly an hour later a cargo truck slid to the side of the road, and Dack climbed in. His body was found a month later in a corn field.
