Next week

As Apsra undressed, she thought whether she was betraying Karan’s trust by lying to him. She folded the conservative office attire she wore from home and put it inside a duffel bag, and from another bag she unfolded another office outfit, a white shirt, a black office pant, and a matching black blazer. The fit was tight, hugging her curves, and the material was fully cotton which made it feel really soft to her skin. Roma had given her the outfit on her first day. “It’s a magic outfit” she had said “The more buttons you leave out, the better your day becomes!” Apsra usually unbuttoned two, showing ample cleavage which she thought was just the right amount, but she felt a bit adventurous today.

After touching up her makeup and putting on her high heels (company policy), she came out of the bathroom.

“I’m ready. Let’s go!”

Rob looked up from whatever he was doing on his phone and gawked. “Damnn… W-woww”

Apsra smiled and winked. “Too much?”

Rob looked like he was trying to form words, but couldn’t.

Rob was an assistant tailor in their department, and Apsra’s chauffer until “Well until I stop flirting with him”, she assumed. He had overheard her conversation during lunch, about how she was always scared while riding the bus to the office, and later that day, offered to drive her to and from the office. She was also using his bathroom as a changing station to get dressed for work. Her husband would definitely not let her go to the office looking as she did right now.

She remembered how Karan had reacted when she wore a camisole (shoulders showing) and a pair of jeans that accentuated her ass, to a friend’s birthday party. He didn’t say anything outright, but she received 50+ messages and multiple calls throughout the night. As interested as Karan was in her work life, Apsra didn’t want to add more drama into her life.

During the ride to the office, Rob almost rear-ended another car as he tried to make excuses to get another look at the girls and the valley they created.

“Roma didn’t say anything about the buttons being responsible for my ****” Apsra chuckled within.

“So, um.. you up for coffee this Saturday?”

Apsra had already turned down two of his offers during the last week. “But after the display today, I don’t think I need to worry about the consequences of declining again…” Apsra thought.

“Sorry Rob… I made some plans with the hubby… maybe some other time?”

There was an awkward silent for a while.

“Well, whatever plans you’ve made…” Apsra suddenly felt his hand on hers. “… I’m sure I can show you a better time.”
