Dack looked around and decided on the spot right beside Sherry at the door. Little did he know that this put him directly into the social pariah position of Teachers Pet.

Four years would pass, Dack getting top grades in all of his classes but slowly slipping into the role of a nobody. His teachers would like him, others would ask him for help, but he wouldn't make many friends. He would be a Private at the Academy for three years, assisting his former teachers in their duties until he was finally assigned to the USS Escape as an engineer. Dack would perform well for three years on the Escape before dieing in a freak ventillation accident. He was easily replaced by a new recruit straight out of the Academy.
