Drs. [Redacted: henceforth referred to as "Dr. A"] and [Redacted: henceforth referred to as "Dr. B"] discuss Project ****.

Drs. A and B enter the room whispering. Audio enhancement is unable to separate dialog from background noise. The background noise ceases after an audible click and the Drs. begin speaking at conversational volume.

Dr. A: Okay. We’re good.

Dr. B: You locked it?

Dr. A: I said, we're good.

Dr. B: Well, check again. We could lose our jobs over this.

Dr. A: You're worried about our jobs? You know what we're doing here right? This is treason.

Dr. B: Yeah, I got it. Don't remind me.

Twelve seconds of silence.

Dr. A: Did you get the key?

Dr. B: I wouldn't be here if I didn't. You?

Dr. A: Yeah.

Dr. A: When?

Dr. B: Our next shift together is in thirteen days.

Dr. A: [Yelling] We can't wait that long! The damn thing mutated on its own yesterday!

Dr. B: [Shushing noises] God dammit, quiet down. We have to wait. It'll be suspi-

A 62 year old woman was arrested yesterday afternoon for lewd acts in a neighborhood of Burr Ridge. Allegedly, she knocked on neighbors’ doors fully nude, requesting sex acts that, fellow neighbor and local business owner, Tammy Shaarp, says, “Were disgusting, degrading, and unfit for our God Fearing subdivision.”
When local law enforcement arrived on scene...

Wow, Christy thought. Now that’s funny.

Christy flicked her thumb and closed the web browser. After pocketing her phone, she dumped the last bit of her coffee into the sink, a habit she had developed at the age of 5, when her older brother had tricked her into swallowing a mouthful of backwash.

What Christy didn’t remember was that she had met that sixty two year old woman eight months ago at a court ordered anger management class. The woman had become so angry while "sharing" her story that spittle flew from her lips as she spoke. It was only a fine mist, but the virus was one hundred percent contagious through fluid transfer.

Christy, while not exhibiting symptoms and otherwise fully healthy, had become a carrier of this new virus.
