Neo Metall wins!

Amazingly... Against all odds... Against all of Doctor Light's expectations... the Neo Metall he'd caged and brought into his old laboratory was still functional on one side of the room, clopping its feet and pacing back and forth. Buster Girl, on the other hand, lay functionless upon the floor with her shapely bottom raised into the air, her eyes dizzy and spinning. Smoke billowed from bullet-lines riddling her chassis, where she'd been shot no less than twenty times. "Oh dear... The time she's spent deactivated must have corroded some of her circuitry, eating into the sector of her mechanical brain dictating logic and combat protocols. What could have possibly led to this outcome? Could it be...?"

Doctor Light approached carefully, watching the Metall, then carefully opened the panel hidden at the nape of Buster Girl's neck. After poking around for a moment, he seemed to identify the issue. "Oh, Dolly... This is the result of your impatient programming routine! I should have known it was the guidance system. I'll have to rebuild and start all over..." With a deep sigh, he grabbed his robot beneath both arms, then, with great effort, dragged her from the room, away from the Metall.

The last thing Buster Girl needed was shut-eye, but she managed to get some more as Doctor Light opened up her circuitry and made critical fixes. Saving the world would have to wait one day longer, it seemed...{if Buster Girl HP <1}
