Neighborly Advice

Kate takes a chance and asks the neighbor next door to help her out.

Ringing the doorbell, Kate was aoon greeted by an elderly women.

"Hi. Sorry to bother you, but I live next door, and I sorta got locked out. Can you.."

Before Kate could finish, she was lead inside the house by the guiding hand of the old woman at her back.

"You poor thing. You must be frozen in that cold weather wearing so little." The woman o observed.

This was true. Kate only wore a shabby tank top and track shorts, along with tube socks and sneakers. She dressed lightly because she was immediately going to put her gear over the top of those clothes and get to work. Although, that's not an option at this time.

"Would you like a snack after you wash up?" The woman asked.

"Excuse me?" Kate was confused.

"Honey, you gotta wash up, look at all them stains."

That was Kate's last time skipping laundry day. Being locked out in her workout attire wasn't something she planned on doing.

"Ok, where is your shower?" Kate asks looking around.

"I'll show you, child." The woman smiled warmly at Kate.

As Kate takes one step inside the bathroom, she feels her tank top being lifted up over her head.

"Wait. What are you doing?" She desperately asks the woman.

"I'm helping you to get ready for your bath, babe." The old woman calmly answers.

"Bath? I take showers, and why are you calling me honey, child, and babe?
