Negative.

You see that Angela is crying when she shows you the stick.

"What does that symbol mean?" you ask, shaking as you anxiously wait for the results.

"Not pregnant," she says.

"That's great!" you cheer.

"Instructions say to take another test in one week. They say could be," she pauses to read the instructions, "false negative."

You feel slightly relieved but you are not out of the woods yet. You extend your arms to her for a hug and she stands up and you hold her tightly, stroking her long, dark hair. You wonder if she is a bit disappointed that she is not pregnant because it would mean she would not live with you any more and have to go back to work at the massage parlor.

"You can stay with me for another week, okay?" you whisper.

"Really? Thank you!" she smiles at you, wiping her tears. She leans up to kiss you.

The week goes by fast and you find yourself sitting on the bed again waiting for her to take the pregnancy test in the bathroom.

"Craig!" she calls for you and run to the bathroom.
