Mysterious Anomaly

Kate is called in to investigate a sudden appearance of what looks like an interstellar cloud, dangerously close to the Earth's atmosphere. She and two other Astronauts bourd the new rocketship, Long dart, which is capable of visiting neighboring galaxies in a short time, if needed. Kate ran through her mission briefing. She is to come into contact with the anomaly, analyze it, discover it's point of origin and conclude whether it's lethal or not.
