My towels are gone!

Stepping out of the shower, I noticed that all of my clothes were gone and so were the towels I had ready to dry myself with. I can't imagine how but my mother must've judged to be dirty and hauled them away along with my clothes. I began thinking through my options.

Of course the most obvious solution would be to sprint through the halls to my room, completely naked. I didn't particularly enjoy that idea as I knew there were guests in the house and I didn't know where they could be, and with my room being upstairs I would have to streak past the living room door, up the stairs past the front door, through the upstairs hall, passing by the second bathroom, and finally into my room. It's possible my sister and her friends are all chilling out in her room, they could be anywhere else too.

I suppose I could just open the door a crack and shout for my sister and politely ask her to bring me some fresh towels, although that would be very conspicuous, ideally I'd like to retreat to my room where my clothes are without attracting an audience, and to tell the truth I can't be entirely sure my sister won't use this opportunity to embarrass me, she's certainly done things like this before.

There is a final, perhaps outlandish, option that I was considering. The bathroom was on the ground floor, I could open the window and slip through. I would then make my way around to the back of the house and enter through the back door. Then I could sprint upstairs to my room as quickly as my dripping wet legs could carry me. Of course this would nearly identical to just making a run for it from the bathroom, except I'd avoid having to pass by my sister's door, which may be wide open for all I know. Taking this route would mean I'd have to run through the kitchen though. Not to mention the fact that I'd be outside of the house for a minute or two.

My mind was racing to make a decision, thankfully I did have plenty of time to decide. Unless someone decided they needed to use the bathroom right about now...
