Ms.Nanci's mother

“Hi mom!” Ms.Nanci says almost childlike as she goes to hug her mother.

“Hello dearie, did you have a good day?” she asks.

This dumbfounded you. Your teacher who you’d estimate to be close to 40 is still living with her mother? Whats even worst she took you here to be used and abused by her? As you glanced at the older women you’d estimate her age to be around 80 her skin was loose her back hunched over slightly, in her right hand she held a cane which trembled due to her hand not being able to stay steady, her hair looked real as to say its not a wig but her natural grey hair.

“So are you going to introduce me to your friend?” she says as if talking to a child.

“Oh right! Mother..” she starts as she walks over to you.

“This is Doug! He’s a student in my class and his grades were bad so his mother asked me to tutor him this weekend and of course I just had to say yes!” she says pridefully.

You stand there and wonder how someone can just lie to their mother that easily, although the part about you failing the class is true…

“Well nice to meet you Doug, usually I would say call me Ms.Nanci but I feel like that would get confusing fast. So you may call me Gladious.” she says holding out her hand.

You shake the withered hand gently.

“It’s nice to meet you Gladious, I hope you don’t mind me staying here for the weekend.” you pray that she does.

“Of course not dearie education is important and it’s good to live with someone else every now and then even if its just a few days. Seeing how other people live could awaken something in you.” that last part of sentence rung a little deeper than it should of.

“Now let’s see whose room you’ll be staying in for the weekend.” Gladious proposes. As she reaches into her bag and pulls out a 6 sided die.
